Dr. Arman Batpenov
National Scientific Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics
Arman Nurlanuly Batpenov is Deputy Director for Research and Strategy, PhD in Medicine, Master of Business Administration, and trauma and orthopedic surgeon.
He graduated from Astana Medical University in 2007 with a degree in General Medicine. From 2007 to 2010, he completed internship training and then residency at the National Scientific Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics in Traumatology and Orthopedics. From 2012 to 2015, he was a PhD doctoral student at Astana Medical University and successfully defended his doctoral dissertation under the supervision of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Sh.A. Baimagambetov. In 2015, he completed an MBA at Almaty Management University, and in 2016, he graduated from Kazakh Humanitarian Law University with a degree in Finance.
He began his professional career in 2002 as an orderly in the emergency trauma unit of the National Scientific Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics. From 2005 to 2007, he worked there as a nurse, and from 2008 to 2011, as a trauma and orthopedic surgeon in the Department of Arthroscopy and Sports Trauma. Over the years, he also held leadership positions in business organizations.
He completed internships in leading clinics in Germany, the United States, and South Korea. He is the author of 2 monographs, 2 methodological guidelines, and 26 scientific publications, 2 of which are indexed in major international databases.
